New Media, Campaigns, and Elections

The speaker for the annual Steven H. Chaffee Memorial Lecture will be Kathleen Hall Jamieson, Elizabeth Ware Packard Professor of Communication at the Annenberg School for Communication and the Walter and Leonore Annenberg Director of the Annenberg Public Policy Center, University of Pennsylvania.

In her presentation, "New Media, Campaigns, and Elections," Professor Jamieson will discuss the growing influence of the web on political communication and the challenges of policing deceptions in the 2012 political campaigns.  This lecture is free, but reservations are required.  The link for reservations is:
