With the presidential primary season now upon us, Professor John T. Woolley will speak on the historical importance of this process.  Together with Gerhard Peters, Woolley has developed an extensive and award-winning website, The American Presidency Project(http://www.presidency.ucsb.edu), widely used by scholars and others interested in the presidency and American political history.

The Chancellor's Community Breakfast is hosted by the UCSB Affiliates and brings together elected officials, key UCSB staff, Affiliate members, and community leaders to discuss topics of current interest.  Guests must pay in advance by sending their check for $20 per person, payble to UC Regents, to:
