Political Science Professor Pei-te Lien has been awarded a Taiwan Fellowship, which she will use during the summer of 2012 to study political socialization through citizenship education in Taiwan this summer.

The Taiwan Fellowship was established by Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs to award foreign experts and scholars interested in studies related to Taiwan, cross-strait relations, Asia-Pacific affairs and Chinese studies to conduct advanced research at universities or other academic institutions in Taiwan, thereby promoting international partnerships and mutual understanding.
