Professor of Political Science Bruce Bimber was one of eight UCSB Faculty members -- the highest one-year total ever for UCSB -- who were elected 2011 Fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. This honor is bestowed upon AAAS members by their peers in recognition of their scientifically or socially distinguished efforts to advance science or its applications.
