Bio:
Zifeng is a Political Theory student at UCSB, focusing on modern political theory from Rousseau to Marx. Additionally, Zifeng is interested in the theories and ideologies stemming from contemporary left-wing social movements such as Zenkyoto and Mai 68. Zifeng’s overarching concern is how humanity might respond politically to modernity understood as a condition of nihilism. Prior to joining the Department of Political Science at UCSB, he studied at Peking University and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
