Recent graduate Julian Gottlieb (PhD, 2015) received the 2016 Best Dissertation Award given by the Western Political Science Association for "The Protest News Framing Cycle: How News Attention and Framing Change Over the Course of a Protest." Dr. Gottlieb is currenty an Instructor of Political Science at Seattle University.
